While I definitely prefer the technical side of things over acting, I have no issues at all with being asked to be on stage for a grand total of about five minutes and speaking approximately six lines. In fact, I think it will be fun.
One night of rehearsal I noticed on the white board backstage the following written by one of the cast members: “I like theatre because: I feel like I fit in.” It made me smile because I understand, completely. Hopefully, others feel the same and will continue to audition and perform, whether it is at Westminster or elsewhere.
It tells a story of an untimely uncooperative government. May 4th is an eye opener. Because it gives you the chance to take a stand in your own political events. It gives the feeling of change.
You have the power to change things.
I want to share with you Theatre Westminster’s adventures at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival this past week at West Chester University in West Chester, PA.
